Abstract
- The author reflects on several health challenges faced by individuals in India. The author highlights various diseases and burdens that can cause death including infant mortality, cardiovascular diseases, and HIV/AIDS. The author cites the healthcare delivery shortcomings such as inverse care, impoverishing care, and unsafe care. Moreover, poverty and low quality of life are cited as two of the main causes of diseases.
