Abstract
- The article focuses on the safety review concerning the contamination of GlaxoSmithKline's (GSK) rotavirus vaccine Rotarix in the U.S. Researchers discover DNA from porcine circovirus-1 (PCV1) in its vaccine. Moreover, GSK informs the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) of the impurity and confirms the presence of PCV1 in the vaccine's master stock.
