Defective Goods.

A chapter from the book "New Hampshire Consumer's Sourcebook," third edition, is presented. The chapter offers information on returning merchandise and defective goods for a refund in the state. State law says that the right to return a merchandise is created by a statute, contract or store policy. Under the Uniform Commercial Code (UCC), a buyer may refuse a good if he or she accepted it before discovering a defect and the defect was not easily discovered.
