Abstract

The article presents U.S. legal cases and developments in marketing relative to the regulation of monopolistic methods. In reference to market control the Parrish's Cake Decorating Supplies, Inc. v. Wilton Enterprises, Inc. and the Pillsbury Co. case is cited. In reference to collusive practices the Union Processing Corp. v. Atkin and the Monsanto Co. v. Spray-Rite Service Corp. cases are cited. In recognition of market exclusion tactics the Diversified Industries v. AT&T, the Bayou Bottling Co. v. Dr. Pepper Co., and the Langenderfer v. S.E. Johnson cases are cited.
