Abstract

This case report describes the delayed presentation of bilateral Morgagni herniae in a 4 1/2-year-old boy with Down's syndrome. The authors emphasize the difficulties in establishing the diagnosis, although ultrasonography appears to be valuable. A review of the literature suggests an association between Morgagni hernias and trisomy 21. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
