MAKING TRADE-OFFS.

In this paper we have discussed some of the factors to consider when making trade-offs. We have provided the description (and a program listing, in the appendix) for an interactive computer program (ICM) for obtaining indifference curves, using an extension of the MacCrimmon/Toda method. Some results have been presented to indicate that the procedure produces preference representations that correspond surprisingly well with subsequent choices. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
