Abstract: This publication presents an annual research review of the activities carried over by the Geological Survey of Denmark and Greenland (GEUS) in Denmark, Greenland and other countries. In 2006, the number of mineral and petroleum explorations in Greenland increased. The publication also discusses selected European legislation, including the Water Framework Directive.
