Abstract
- In this article, the author discusses the advantages of the customer contact or call centre for learning and development (L&D) specialists. He relates the LEGO customer centre at Slough, England, which can respond to queries in 15 different languages and calls directed to the relevant person by using sophisticated telephone software. He points out that the call centre allows the advisor to review the product building instructions at all stages.
