Can NYS see the forest for the trees?

The article reports on the claims of New York State Comptroller Thomas P. DiNapoli that the revenues included in the deficit reduction plan of Governor David Paterson may increase the state deficit to more than two billion dollars. He states that the General Fund tax revenues need to grow by more than 46% to meet revenue projections. Moreover, a governor has suggested to reduce the hours of state-operated parks and historic sites.
