Abstract
- The article discusses the role of civil or criminal battery in performing medical procedure on patient without their consent in Great Britain. It says that the law is a living organism and the definition of material risk may thus be subject to further change. It also mentions the legal definitions of terms, the court structure and the Bolam Test.
