Abstract

The specific heat, thermal diffusivity, and thermal conductivity of ceramic samples of Nd<subscript>0.55</subscript>Sr<subscript>0.45</subscript>MnO<subscript>3</subscript>, Sm<subscript>0.55</subscript>Sr<subscript>0.45</subscript>MnO<subscript>3</subscript>, and Eu<subscript>0.55</subscript>Sr<subscript>0.45</subscript>MnO<subscript>3</subscript> in the temperature range 20–350 K have been measured. Anomalies due to magnetic phase transitions have been observed and are interpreted. The temperature dependence of the free-path length is traced. The dependence of the measured coefficients on the degree of cationic disorder due to the difference of the radii of the A cations is determined. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
