The article presents a study which examines the effects of intake of dietary salt on vascular function and blood pressure. Information about the subjects and methods used are offered, along with a discussion on the causal link between excess dietary salt, high blood pressure, and cardiovascular disease. Result of the study reveals a significant increase in vascular function and BP from dietary salt loading in hypertensive people.
