ACA endorses ALGBTIC competencies for counseling transgender clients.

Abstract
- The article reports that the American Counseling Association (ACA) governing counsel endorsed the Association for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Issues in Counseling (ALGBTIC) Competencies for Counseling With Transgender Clients in November 2010. A Transgender Task Force was organized within ALGBTIC to start an organizational assessment of the levels of attention and significant place on both transgender counseling concerns. The members will include Theodore R. Burnes and Julia Hosea.
