Peru copper output up 7.2% in Nov.

The article reports on the 7.2% increase in Peru's copper production in November 2007 due to higher capacity at Freeport McMoran's Cerro Verde mine in Arequipa province. Compared with the corresponding period in 2006, molybdenum production posted 7.9% to 1,621 tonnes, however, zinc production declined by 2.9% to 102,053 tonnes. Data on lead, tin, gold and silver production are given.
