Abstract

The article reflects on the boundary definition of the cultural industries in Great Britain. It says that the decision of national governments and agencies to redefine boundaries have resulted to continuing public cultural policy and practice changes. It adds that redefinition of the arts, creativity and culture by the governments and political parties posed threat to cohesion, connectivity and interaction. In the view of the author, such obsession promotes isolationism between governments and agencies.
