South Korea's LS Cable has big plans and new subsidiary in China.

The article reports that the largest power cable maker LS Cable Ltd. of South Korea has opened a new subsidiary, LS Hongqi Cable Co., based in Yichang City, China in September 2009. It states that the company has several plans for development and expansion, including its plans to capitalize on the Hubei Yongding Hongqi Electricity acquisition, and be the top cable maker not just in China but internationally. It notes that LS Cable has more than 20 affiliate countries and 60 branches worldwide.
