Country Forecast.

The article presents an economic and political forecast for Cuba. After Cuban President Fidel Castro passed the country's leadership to his brother, Raúl Castro Ruiz, the new president carried out a government reshuffle which replaced a number of Council of Ministers members and reorganized the structure of the ministries. Such move has to do with strengthening the president's authority. The setbacks caused by the hurricane have underscored the need for further adjustment of policies.
