The article presents an update on the political sector of Pakistan. Some politicians have lost their immunity from prosecution on corruption charges following the decision of the Supreme Court to declare the National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO) unconstitutional. The statement from Deepak Kapoor, India's army chief, that the country is revising its military doctrine for a possible war with Pakistan and China, has damaged further the relations between India and Pakistan. Around 100 people were killed in a suicide attack in Lakki Marwat.
