Abstract: The article offers information on a research related to the chemical constituents from the leaves of Michelia (Magnoliaceae) compressa var. formosana. It is stated that the study reported four aporphines, one oxoaporphine, two amides, one lignan, two neolignans, one benzenoid and two steroids from the plant's stem. It is mentioned that the plant is used fro the treatment of cancer.
