Abstract

The author reports on the place in which a chief executive officer (CEO) has with communicating to a company's employees. The author feels that it is through communicating concerns and values executives are able to gain the necessary employee cooperation. According to the article, it is through communication that executives share their vision for an organization by expressing the company's ideals and policies. Examples are given of companies in which an open relationship exists between employees and management.
