Abstract
- The article presents a case study of a 36-year-old woman who underwent excision of the right Bartholin's gland which proved to be adenoid cystic carcinoma (ACC), one of the rarest neoplasms of the genital tract in women. Before surgery, she was treated with antibiotics due to the swelling at the Bartholin's gland but showed no improvement. The patient underwent hemivulvectomy and lymph node dissection without radiotherapy and was cured from the disease eight years after.
