Abstract
- The article expresses basic agreement with pedagogue Wolfgang Sander's adoption of the Beutelsbach Consensus on political education and teaching methods. The author, however, takes issue with Sander's adoption of constructivist principles to extend that pedagogical foundation to education in general, which arguably is a task better accomplished through principles formulated by philosopher Immanuel Kant.
