Abstract: The article offers news briefs related to mineral industry. The Chad government set up the Ministry of Mines and Geology in March 2009, which the goal is to allow the development of mining in the country and aid its economic development. In Tanzania, mining companies are about to experience their first gains and more investment is required to maintain the movement of production.
