Abstract

The article presents a study on the effects of Osteopontin (OPN) on the interactions between fibroblast-like synoviocytes (FLS) and B lymphocytes in rheumatoid arthritis (RA). It is stated that OPN supports bone resorption and assists in the migration of macrophages. It notes that the study analyzed the OPN expression and its effects on B cell adhesion to FLS. It also mentions that the study found the expression of 75-kd OPN by RA FLS, which affected FLS-B cell interactions.
