Abstract

This article examines the jurisdictional activities of the Federal Trade Commission. The author traces the business and public interest interpretations of the Commission in the development of regulatory standards. The question is raised whether the current powers of the FTC are ultimately in the best interests of either advertisers or the public they are designed to protect. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
