Abstract
- This article examines the administrative life patterns of staff agencies of the Executive Office of the President in the U.S. All agencies, including presidential staff agencies, display survival instincts. Survival, however, is but a necessary condition for agencies. Most of which want to prosper and grow so they might better serve the public interest and presidential needs. The present article is concerned with the different and variable administrative life patterns of presidential staff agencies.
