Paper trail.

The article focuses on Vaspar Green Technologies, a Bangalore firm which produces honeycomb paper. Though used in the West for packaging, M. S. Naren created a cheaper machine which manufactures the product using manual labor. The result is a material that can be used for furniture and low-cost housing as well, when reinforced with other materials. The company already has contracts with local companies and even Walmart to supply cheaper packaging. Prototype houses are available in Amethi, Uttar Pradesh. Naren said all types of paper can be recycled.
