Abstract
- Provides palaeomagnetic data from the Tortonian-Messinian sediments of the Amantea basin located on the Tyrrhenian coast of Calabria, Italy. Neogene palaeomagnetic data from extensional basins and compressional fronts in central western Mediterranean; Geological setting of the Amantea basin; Information on the relationship between thrust sheet evolution and Neogene paleomagnetic rotations; Tectonic evolution of the basin.
