Twenty-third conference and general assembly of the European Society for Population Economics, London, 2008.

The article discusses the highlights of the 23rd General Assembly of the European Society for Population Economics (ESPE) which was held in Seville, Spain on June 20, 2009. Organizers received several papers submitted for consideration, while delegates attended lectures by Bruno Frey from the University of Zurich and Barbara Petrongolo of the London School of Economics. The issue of converting ESPE to a registered non-profit organization is also considered in the assembly.
