Abstract

The article offers information on the insights that emerge from the ecological-evolutionary researches that were discussed at a symposium entitled "Eco-Evolutionary dynamics: Should Ecologists Care?" during the 2009 Annual Meeting of the Ecological Society of America. It provides an overview of the topics of the researches including how genetic and phenotypic variation influences ecological processes. Moreover, it notes that addressing question in the field of ecological and evolutionary dynamics is important in understanding the dynamic interplay of ecological and evolutionary processes that result from natural or human-driven environmental changes.
