Abstract
- The article discusses the study on predicting spatial inattention in children with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) through dopaminergic haplotype. In this study, a case control design was used for the subjects comprised of 115 children with ADHD who underwent two versions of spatial orientation task. It concludes that 10/3 dopamine transporter gene (DAT1) haplotype, a replicated genetic risk factor for ADHD can explain heterogeneity in selective attention in ADHD.
