Abstract

The article presents a study which investigates the efficacy of different doses of aspirin to lower the blood levels of inflammatory markers in Chinese patients with cardiovascular metabolic syndrome. The study uses the enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay and radioimmunoassay to determine the levels inflammatory markers. Results show that the blood levels of the platelet aggregation and inflammatory mediators decreased after the treatment with 300 milligram (ml)/day among patients.
