Abstract
- The article offers an introduction to the paper "Achieving Competence-Based Curricula for Engineering Education in Spain," by Mónica Edwards et al. which appeared within the issue. The paper focuses on the development of a program that is based on a competence-based engineering education curriculum in Spain. A list of core competencies is proposed by the authors in their paper. The authors expect competence to become the defining measure for redesigning future curricula in Spain.
