Pakistanis Want Larger Role for Both Islam and Democracy.

The article highlights the survey on Pakistani public opinion regarding the political conditions in Pakistan. The survey shows that majority of the Pakistanis support for a moderate and democratic Islamic state. However, majority of the Pakistanis reject Talibanization and support government effort to reform the madrassah system. Moreover, majority of the Pakistanis believe that the U.S. is hostile toward Islam.
