Abstract
- The article deals with a study which described the discovery of a new furcocercaria, similar to those of Paracoenogonimus, in gastropods Amuropaludina and Cipangopaludina collected from the reservoirs of the Primorsky Region in the southern Far East of Russia. It references related research on the cyathocotylid subfamilty Prohemistomatinae. The infestation of the second intermediate hosts, two species fo freshwater fishes, Pseudorasbora parva and Perccottus glenii, are described. Also noted are the morphological differences of the new species, Paracoenogonimus (P.) ussuriensis with P. szidata and Mesostephanus appendiculatus.
