Abstract

The article discusses how wildlife in Australia has affected the revolutionary theories of biologists including Charles Darwin and Alfred Russel Wallace. It is stated that it is a misconception that Port Darwin is named after Charles Darwin and the truth is that it was named by one of Darwin's shipmate, that too 20 years before Darwin Spoke about evolution. It is also mentioned that his trip to Australia proved helpful in his study of evolution and had a similar effect on Wallace's ideology.
