Abstract
- The article examines statistics on strikes in New Zealand during the 1950s and 1960s, and the relevance of the statistics to labor law and legislation. The article describes the history of government policy on industrial relations and conflict management in New Zealand. Characteristics of labor conflicts between 1952 and 1970 are detailed.
