The article focuses on various researches conducted on management activities. Researchers Jude P. West and David M. Arthur are completing a study of various organization development activities in 166 hospitals in four midwestern states of the U.S. Researcher C. R. Kiasson is initiating a longitudinal study on managerial succession policies and practices in large diversified corporations. This study supplements a project that develops a simulation model for examining efforts of manpower policies for the development and placement of talented personnel.
