Abstract
- The article reports on the gamma-ray burst (GRB) detected by the Swift orbiter of the U.S. National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) on April 23, 2009. It indicates that the gamma-ray has a redshift z of 8.26 which is considered as the highest redshift ever detected by NASA. It also states that the initial burst of gammas and the x-ray afterglow of GRB provide no direct measure of z.
