Abstract

The article discusses the study on the development of a seed germination bioassay for opposition to imazapyr in sunflower. The sunflower is one of the most significant oil crops in the world upon which the growth of imidazolinone-resistant (IMI-R) cultivated sunflower present a major step in promoting weed control for this species. It notes the execution of the inbred lines assessed under the germinative tests showed that reported bioassays can be use in identifying genotypes with IMI-R genes.
