Abstract
- The article focuses on the creation of a vegetable garden by Queen Elizabeth at Buckingham Palace in London, England. The queen has revived the traditional vegetable patch, assigning a team of gardeners to plant onions, leeks, beans, tomatoes, lettuce and potatoes. Chemicals are banned, liquid seaweed is used to nourish them and water is piped from the palace bore. Crops include Golden Queen and White Queen tomatoes, Northern Queen lettuces, Royal Red and Blue Queen French Beans. Tips for vegetable gardening are also provided.
