Will China Fizzle?

The article discusses the economic conditions of China. There was an article written in the state-owned newspaper "People's Daily" which stated that wages in China had risen 13% which garnered ridicule on the Internet. The China National Bureau of Statistics found that the first half of the 2009 fiscal year showed a 7.1% increase in the gross domestic product.
