Abstract

The article focuses on a study done by researchers at the Imperial College in London, England, regarding the effects of type of stem cells on the structure and composition of tissues developed from them. The researchers developed bones from embryonic stem cells and adult stem cells called the osteoblasts, and found that bones produced from osteoblasts were healthier than the ones from embryonic cells. Also discussed are the applications of finding on the development of stem cell therapies.
