Long Distance Es Propagation on 50 MHz at Solar Cycle Minimum — Part 2.

The article presents the results and conclusions on the long distance 6 meter sporadic E (E_s) propagation on 50 MHz in the summer of 2008. It explores the four as well as the possible fifth hop target areas that have been simulated by the Beamfinder software by DF5AI. It concludes that the transatlantic distances' distribution on 6 meters shows the presence of a first and second hop. The distribution is said to be correlated with the third hop's Gaussian-like distribution.
