Abstract
- The author discusses the success of the 2009 Street Machine Snap-on Tools Apprentice of the Year as a first-time competition. He comments on the large number of applications received. He cites the members of the judging panel whom, according to him, all started out as apprentices. He explains the process for selecting the finalists and expresses disappointment that there were very few entries from young sparkles, panel beaters and spray painters as compared to entries from apprentice mechanics.
