Abstract
- The article focuses on the design of the questionnaire used for the Monthly Retail Trade Survey (MRTS) in Canada. The questionnaires have collected information on retail sales and the number of trading locations as well as inventories of goods from retailers every month. The changes in the questionnaires are then passed to a review committee and subjected to a field test with respondents and users of data for relevancy purposes.
