Helicobacter pylori gastritis in children: efficacy of 2 weeks of treatment with clarithromycin, amoxicillin and omeprazole.

Thirty-eight children with Helicobacter pylori gastritis diagnosed by histopathology, and/or bacteriological culture were treated with omeprazole, amoxicillin and clarithromycin. Follow-up endoscopy was performed in 34 children. Outcome was measured by negative histology and culture for H. pylori. Six patients were excluded.
