Abstract

Investigates the effect of argon laser irradiation upon zinc tellurium (ZnTe) homoepitaxial growth in low pressure metalorganic vapor phase epitaxy. Use of dimethylzinc and diethyltelluride as source materials; Enhanced growth rate of the ZnTe layer; Improvement of the layer quality by irradiation.
