Abstract

The article discusses the creation of the passive-solar house in New Mexico. It was made by architect Mark Jones and solar engineer Scott Morris. Highlights of the house's construction is provided. Its passive solar heating system has been found that it delivered a 100% of the heat needed for house and did so with a temperature swing of only 4.2 degrees Fahrenheit. It describes that it was designed in Southwest style, but consist of framed walls.
