Abstract

The article presents the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) Shopping Center Executive Opinion Survey which showed the deteriorating conditions of businesses for the twenty-third consecutive month ended in June 2009. Current market condition components are still below 50% growth but the business barometer advanced as the highest point since 2008. Though executives are cautious about the future market conditions, there are still slight signs of optimism for the future.
